    You save more space with sliding doors.

    More traditional the better :)

    I've always gone with hinged doors since I scared my clothes could get snagged on the runners (I'm probably being over cautious) and I like to be able to see all my clothes at once so I can figure out an outfit.

    Sliding - seem to be more practical in small rooms.
