Eco/less toxic alternatives to expanding foam?

Becky Taylor

Hi everyone. I have a kitchen that desperately needs cracks and holes plugging around the water pipes in the floor and where the old boiler pipes used to go. The cracks are all hidden behind kitchen units/kickboards. I've looked at expanding foam but it seems so toxic (I'm pregnant and have a toddler in the house) so am really not keen on that. What are some eco friendly/less toxic options I could use? (Plugging the gaps due to draughts and the occasion slug...ew!) Thanks so much

Have someone do the foam for you, keep a window open. I could say filler putty, but harder to reach places would be messy.
