From the showroom experience, allowing us to see artistic fireplace surround designs, to choosing our fireplace, to installation, Aria Custom Design was professional every step of the way. Owner Chris is an artist - we love the surround he created for us! His employees are exceptional as well.

We built a custom home in 2013 and used Old World Designs for out great room mantle. Chris and his team did a fantastic job at very reasonable price. They listened carefully to what we wanted and then made it come to life. We love the way it turned out and pops out as the centerpiece in the room - especially at Christmas time. We will not hesitate to use them again for the next project!

Chris Lobato of Old World Designs helped us redesign two fireplaces in our home. His designs for both fireplaces were artfully made with consideration for the rooms and for our preferences. We learned about Chris Lobato and Old World Designs while we were remodeling our home. We knew we didn't want the typical brick or stone fireplaces. Our home is a 1928 English Tudor in the Bonnie Brae neighborhood of Denver and we wanted something that had more of that old limestone feel with curves and uniqueness. We me Chris at his studio in Colorado Springs and felt connected to him right away. His showroom had lots of ideas to get us started, we told Chris about our vision and he got to work right away working on our designs. He listened to what we wanted but also gave his input as to what he thought would work. He is an artist and taught us about the whole process. Chris was absolutely wonderful to work with, so much so that we added Venetian plaster walls in several places throughout our home. We talked about colors, what would work, what wouldn't. The walls and fireplace are our favorited parts of the house. We wouldn't hesitate to work with Old World Designs again. Our home feels like "one of a kind" because of Chris's work.

I cannot thank Chris, Luke, Kyle and the rest of the Old World Designs crew for the amazing job they did to transform the exterior of our home. It was such a stark black and white color and for years and years we struggled with what to do with it since it was such a boring design. We just needed the person with the right ‘mind’ to come along and see its potential. Because we waited so long that also meant they had to patch/replace many neglected areas, and so the exterior was in need of much TLC. Now I get so excited getting to look up at the house and finally say “Hey, we have a cute house!”. You did a great job of cleaning up afterwards which was much appreciated. We also greatly needed and appreciated their guidance in design choices. It just looks fabulous.

Truly custom one-of-a-kind designed replacement fireplace. Project was remodel / replace of 25+ year older fireplace. Chris (Old World Designs owner) created the highly technical three-dimension design taking into account our thoughts / wishes in the final design. Fabrication and installation of the components of the limestone fireplace required "essential perfection."

He designed a beautiful fireplace for my client. The workmanship was exquisite. His attention to detail and attention to the desires of my client was extraordinary. She will have a wonderful addition to her house that she will enjoy for many years to come.
