I cannot say enough good things about our building experience with Gallup and Lafitte. They tuly turned our dream of a Lake Home into reality. Dick Gallup drew our house plans & was an excellent listener as to what our vision was for our home. He was extremely knowledgeable, honest, upfront and ethical. RB was our project manager and he truly had our best interest in mind. I could call him with any question or concern and he handled it or addressed it right away. He kept us updated on the building schedule and work tirelessly to make our completion deadline. His guidance and leadership took the stress out of building a home. Elaine Gallup is a true gem! She was a guiding light in helping us choose countertops, tile, flooring, paint colors, etc. She has excellent taste and an eye for detail. I dont know what I would have done without her. Her recommendations and forethought made our home interior far more beautiful and top notch than I could have ever done on my own. Being a Real Estate professional myself, I know there are plenty of choices when building a home, however Gallup and Lafitte are hands down the best choice. Not only are they easy to work with, but they have a streamlined process that takes the guess work and stress out of building and they have an EXCELLENT reputation for building a beautiful and quality custom home. We love our Lake house and it has far exceeded our expectations.

We had a great experience with our most recent home renovation which included a remodeled master bathroom, upgrades to the master bedroom and half bath. We contacted Gallup & LaFitte, Design-Build-Remodel and spoke with R.B. Gallup. After our first meeting with R.B., he had a full understanding of what we envisioned. He was also instrumental in making additional suggestions that made our finish product even better than expected. During the renovation, our home was left clean at the end of each work day. R.B. and his workers were always pleasant to work with. We are extremely happy with the results. If we have any future renovation needs or ideas, R.B. Gallup will be who we contact. Gallup and LaFitte truly turned our dreams into our perfect dream home. They provided a full service experience from the first consultation with Dick Gallup Sr. Who transformed my napkin drawings into reality. We visited home built by Gallup and LaFitte for a first hand customer review and saw the results up close. Every step was made easier as we were building in SC from NJ. The project manager RB Gallup sent detailed reports and photos of progress weekly and financial reports every month. The interior designer set up appointments with vendors for lighting, interior flooring, painting contractors, cabinets etc. Gallup and LaFitte work with custom carpenters to build our specific requirements for mantels, customized closets and design elements. Work was done to the timeline they promised. They worked with the budget provided and made every effort to source the best materials. When we requested materials not available in the South they worked with us to help obtain, deliver and install special stonework. This was the first home we ever built and Gallup and LaFitte made the whole process work so effortlessly that I would not hesitate to recommend them with the upmost confidence.

Many thanks to the great team at Gallup and LaFitte for the wonderful job they have done on our new home in Timberlake Plantation. Many contractors are intimidated at the prospect of working for an Architect who is building a new home, But G&L jumped right in and stayed ahead the whole way. What more can you ask than a good job completed on time and within the budget? My particular thanks goes out to R B Gallup for his absolute commitment to a quality result and for his skillful management of all the subs and vendors. His dedication to the project was obvious from the first day and continued on until he handed us a the keys at completion.

Robert LaFitte was the lead on our extensive, complete house renovation - a renovation that was recognized as best in its category in the BIA 2015 Remodelers competition. Robert and the rest of the Gallup & LaFitte organization were professional, knowledgeable, competent and a pleasure to work with. As with any renovation, especially of a house over 40 years old, there were several significant challenges beginning with different levels of flooring on the slab base. New HVAC and appliance relocation also required creative engineering. The interior details were demanding but well done. Yet the team kept costs within reason and schedule changes in line. The resulting house exceed our expectations and has become out favorite home of the four we have built. We highly recommend the Gallup and LaFitte team and will use them again if the need arises.

Contracted with Gallup and LaFitte to design and construct our craftsman style home. What sold us on this company was their total turn key solution, from idea / design phase to the completed home built to our specs. Other selling points were their quality of construction, attention to detail, the detailed project schedule they provided, their estimation / budget process, and their reputation from other clients. While the construction of our home lasted about 10 months, we were fully engaged along the way -- and we wanted to be engaged. Once construction was complete, our project manager, R.B. Gallup, worked aggressively to address the outstanding issues on the punch list. Overall, it was a very positive experience. While it was the fifth home we have built, and our fourth custom home and the most detailed of the four, Gallup and LaFitte did an excellent job of helping us get the home we wanted with the details we wanted while also working within a budget.

Gallup and Gallup built us a beautiful custom home in Timberlake, outside of Chapin, SC. We were moving into the area from out of state, so it was important that we get as much done as possible in a short amount of time. They never let us down- appointments were made and we had any assistance needed to stay on schedule. Attention was always payed to the finest detail in construction and we were extremely pleased with the final product. We have been very happy with our home and would recommend them to anyone.

We hired Gallup & Gallup for a remodel project. We added a master bedroom suite, office and out door space. We had a great experience with this company and have recommended them to others. We had a 50 year old lake house that really needed updating and added on to. A friend of ours reco mmended Gallup & Gallup to us. Dick Gallup met us and drew an architectural plan that we liked. It took 6 months to complete and during that time they were very professional, courteous and experienced. They also recommended several changes that they thought were needed.
