About Us

Fisher Heck Architects is a full service architectural design firm, located in San Antonio, Texas since 1982. Although we are known for our work in the areas of religious architecture and historic preservation, we have a passion for residential design. We have extensive experience working on homes of various sizes and styles throughout the Texas region. Our approach always begins with listening to our client and working with them in close collaboration throughout the design and construction process. We believe strongly in context-sensitive design that respects the land, its natural features and surrounding properties. How the home "communicates" with the surrounding community is vital to our design approach. Furthermore, we always take a holistic approach when it comes to a home's energy usage. Whether it is the home's orientation, window placement, mechanical and electrical systems, materials or landscaping. It's all important when trying to achieve a healthy sustainable home.
