About Us

A born and bred Texan, Briana was surrounded by big and bold design in everyday life. Helping her mother constantly rearrange and re-decorate their home, she developed a taste for dramatic proportions and splashes of color. Working for ten years in New York City's editorial, film and events industries, Briana styled for clients such as NBC, Country Home Magazine, Ralph Lauren Home, In Style and Jimmy Choo. She spent 3 years under her mentor, William Lee, NYC's master of the Danish and Mid-Century furniture movement, studying the classics and refining her palette for minimal and modern function. Her latest venture is Briana Nix Lifestyle & Design, established in San Francisco in 2014. Drawing from her past, Briana weaves threads of whimsy and simplicity to create spaces that convey an elevated lifestyle, both inside and outside the home, while remaining practical for everyday use.
