James Comiskey, owner of About Your Garden, did a fabulous job in creating an imaginative, elegant, and bespoke garden around my new house . The garden has been much admired. Nothing was too much trouble for James, who was always available to discuss and answer any queries or ideas that I had. Over the years I planted flowers in my back garden without any real overall plan in my head. As a result I spent a lot of time moving plants, replanting them or getting rid of them altogether. So I engaged James and he proposed a design which transformed my garden. What I most liked about his approach was that he gave time to understanding our favorite plants (I love the architecture of plants while my wife loves colors). He incorporated our favorite plants with his sound sustainable design and we were delighted with the outcome. I also like the fact that James turns up when he says he will and keeps you in the loop as he progresses along. I have no hesitation in recommending James to you.

We enlisted the help of James as we have purchased a new home recently. James came highly recommend to us by friends. We had no idea of how to approach our garden revamp and had added complications of wanting to remove some steps from the kitchen down to the garden but still keep it simple and have a nice seating area where we can entertain. James called out to us and spent time getting to know us as a couple, what our needs and wants are and what our day to day life is like with our golden retriever. James gave us huge insights, ideas and advice and we really felt he understood what we wanted to achieve . Once our consultation was complete he returned to us within a few days with our brief. We are really looking forward to starting our garden work in the next few months.

With great skill James brought together the practical needs of a building project with the principals of good design. Finessing the ideas we wanted to incorporate, getting the best materials at the best price (including some fabulous reclaimed granite), always thinking about the bigger picture. About Your Garden came highly recommended by Bright Design Architects who I worked within the pasted. From the initial quote to planning and then re-planning our design, James was confident he could deliver and was very accommodating to our needs and budget. Once a date was selected and the materials were delivered, James and his team went straight to work. In just a few weeks our backyard was transformed from a hilly, muddy mess to a flat, artificial grass lawn with a beautiful planted raised beds and Granite Patio areas. We have received many compliments on the transformation and are planning on using them again for our next project. We made the right choice! and so should You.
