Benefits of Working with Timber World We Don’t Sell to the General Public Many wholesalers set up retail businesses and then compete with their own customers. At Timber World we do not sell any of our products directly to the general public, we only sell to retailers. Primarily, we are a manufacturer and it is in our long term interests to work fairly and closely with our retailers. Guaranteed Margins In order to make sure that there is fair competition between our retailers and that our products retain their market value, we insist on a minimum retail price for our products. This ensures that all our retailers get a minimum of 10% – 15% margin (depending on the product) and that no-one gets priced out of the market. You are free to charge more if you wish and increase your margin. Unbranded Products In order to give you greater scope for selling our products, we have not given any of them any branding. This gives you the opportunity to name them yourself on your website, create a new brand or add to an existing brand that you already work with. There is no branding on any packaging or promotional materials and we maintain absolute discretion when contacting your customers regarding delivery or during aftersales services. Flexible Financing To make life simpler for you and your customers we only require a 30% deposit on standard log cabins at the time of order. The 70% final payment is due the day before delivery. We accept either cheque, which will need to clear first, or bank transfer. For bespoke products, we require a 50% deposit.
