Vincent helped us navigate plans to demolish an old building and to draw up plans to rebuild in the same image, with a modern a-wing attached, an emphasis on capitalising on daylight, and a respect for the grounds surrounding the site. He was both informative and patient as we worked through the details, and was able to breakdown the process and communicate throughout our planning permission proposal, we were delighted to see planning permission approved this December and look forward to building throughout 2024. I would highly recommend Vincent to anyone looking for someone who can bring a wide array of knowledge and respect to a project. For timeline context, we approached Durkin Designs with a very rough idea towards the end of February, worked on designs, submitted planning, responded quickly to further information requests, and we we got planning permission approved mid-December.

We had no knowledge of what was involved in our house extension but Vincent took care to explain in a step by step approach advising us of engineers, planning etc. Durkin designs a plan that was exactly what we wanted and our final result was more than what we exoected. The service was easy, efficient and hassle free. An excellent company that we would highly recommend.

We used Vincent Durkin Design Ltd for our retention planning application. We are satisfied with the service we received from Vincent. Very professional company and all staff. Work done on a timely fashion and all information communicated to us. Work was done fast and paperwork submitted to Co council within weeks! Thanks very much!

We used Vincent for a recent renovation project. He was very engaging from start to finish and nothing was too much or too silly to ask for. He listened to us and used our feedback to edit the designs as necessary. Vincent also interjected at different stages to guide us and provide insights that we hadn't thought about or simply overlooked. Professional and personable. Early stages of the project but have found Vincent to be very professional, thorough, punctual, polite and friendly throughout. He is also reachable, might be a small thing but answering the phone and returning calls is very important to us and isn't always the case. Really good to deal with, delighted with the designs and concepts he's come up with. Highly recommend

From our first phone call, i knew we had made the right choice. Having got recommendations from someone who had used Vinent on many projects over the years, was a plus. Expectations were clear with regards to budgets, he listened to everything we had to say & even heard what we didn't say. He gave great advise but didn't push his opinion , a vast amount of knowledge. On a personal level, very approachable & contactable. Would highly recommend Vincent, to work along side.
