About Us

Fabrica Architects have a wealth of experience in designing and managing a variety of projects from domestic extensions, protected structures, bespoke one-off houses to large mixed use developments. We design based on the principle that each project should be adapted to the context in which it is located, often referred to as 'genius loci'. We prefer to use natural materials such as brick, stone, wood for there aesthetic merit and also to perpetuate the completed project.

Professional Information

Trevor Dobbyn completed his diploma in architecture at the Edinburgh College of Art in 1997, before returning home to Dublin to work for de Blacam & Meagher Architects for 14 years as a senior project architect. During this time, excellent working relationships were formed with various suppliers, contractors and design team professionals to deliver and maintain a very high standard of workmanship and quality on a diverse range of projects.
