Nuuanu Green Home This was the first project that I teamed up with Armstrong Builders. My design is strongly based on simple geometry with clean lines. Not many people realize this, but simple clean design requires the most attention to detail and high quality craftsmanship. Armstrong Builder has a long history of outstanding reputation for the craftsmanship of Classic Hawaiian design homes. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they can deliver on clean urban style design as well. I'm a strong advocate for sustainability, and appreciate that my client agreed to pursue this avenue. This home is accredited with LEED Silver, and Armstrong Builder's experience on LEED projects contributed greatly to this. I strongly believe that we were able to establish a good mutual relationship through this project, and won't hesitate to recommend my clients and fellow architects to the Armstrong team.

We are currently working closely with Armstrong Builders on a number of large luxury residential projects, and have been thoroughly impressed with everyone involved. Armstrong Builders brings a high level of quality craftsmanship and professionalism to all of their projects. Most recently, we collaborated on the design and construction of a tropical luxury home in the Kukui'ula community on the island of Kauai. The home's board & batten siding and gently sloping hip roofs draw upon time-honored traditions of island architecture. Armstrong's unique contributions to the home included mahogany pocket sliding doors that open over 35 feet wide, an infinity pool with submerged spa and wet deck lounge fronting incredible panoramic ocean views, and exceptional craftsmanship throughout the interior and exterior.
