About Us

nZEB design no problem, several dwellings designed and built in the last 10 years. Zeno Winkens MRIAI has worked as an architect in Wexford for over 30 years. Throughout his career Zeno has championed the use of green building technologies and sustainable materials. As early as 1991 he designed a passive solar bungalow installed with a solar warm air heating system which still runs today. In 2012 he won a Green Award for his design work on a passive house constructed in hemp. More recently, he designed Ireland’s first A1 BER- rated house that also has Passive House certification. This design was Isover Energy Efficiency Award Winner 2013 and represented Ireland at European level.
