About Us

*Authorized Dealer of Wood-Mode and Brookhaven Cabinetry* At Showcase Kitchen & Bath, we endeavor to foster a whole living environment in our projects. We want to find out who our client is, what they are about, in terms of an aesthetic, and translate that back into usable, emotionally satisfying spaces. Susan George has been creating kitchens for distinctive Western Pennsylvania residences for over 20 years. With an educational background in interior design and home economics, Susan is able to combine lessons learned from these fields to foster creativity and balance amid form and function. Vince has a background in architectural commercial construction. He is the founder of V.O. George Corporation, a subcontractor on many major projects in the Western PA area since 1975. Vince was the first non architect to be elected president of thePA chapter of the Construction Specification Institute. He has also served as president of the Pittsburgh Builders Association. Currently he helps Susan on her projects with estimating and project scheduling. Matt has been in the remodeling field since 2004, performing a variety of duties; from specification and site measurement, to labor and customer service.

We had Susan design our new kitchen after we experienced some water damage. We expressed our wants and needs in a new kitchen that would improve upon the old kitchen. Susan did a great job with our new kitchen design. The kitchen layout works beautifully for us. The cabinets are very good quality and just the color and style I love. Any glitches that arose were taken care of immediately. Susan's cabinets have a lot of accessories to offer to make life easier and fun. We recommend Susan and the crew in her studio.

Susan and I have worked together for 10 years in the design build, installation of custom kitchens and baths, Susan's expertise is helping the customer through the initial fazes of design and selection of tile, cabinets, counter tops, fixtures, and then coordinating placement of them in your home. Weather its a whole tear out and remodel or just a small replacement you can count on her to be matickuless and detailed. As a team, I being one of the installers, bring over 30 years of knowledge and expertise, all of the subcontractors used through out the installation are seasoned, well known, professional and courteous. Susan designed a new beautiful kitchen for us. Her challenge was to create a compact kitchen with all the important elements including a seating area. The design is perfect and the Brookhaven cabinetry is top quality. Susan also patiently helped with both the granite countertop and flooring selections and her carpenter did a wonderful job installing the cabinets and crown moldings. From start to finish Susan was a great professional.

Commented: Is the polished floor the tile slick?It is a porcelain tile which does not get slick when wet.

Commented: Love this floor--is it stone or porcelain?This floor is a stone, it is a quartzite, sold by our local retailer in that Versailles pattern. It is also available in other size formats.

Commented: What is the name of the graniteThis granite is Delicatus. It can look different at different times it is mined, so it might require looking around to find some slabs that look like this.

Commented: What is the wood used and the stain used for the island?The cabinetry is Brookhaven by Wood-Mode, the wood is cherry, the finish is Candlelight stain with black glaze.
