Project was supposed to take 8 weeks, took 9 months. Palani does not like to hear what you want to have done, he wants to do things HIS way only. VERY hard getting the job finished, not detail oriented and overcharged, even when they had to REDO things they did incorrectly.

We did a complete condo remodel using ADR. Palani and his team guided me each step of the way, from helping me to choose materials to making sure I was completely satisfied with every detail of construction. The transformation of our condo was amazing. Palani provided quality work, great communication, and finished on time. I highly recommend Alexander's Designs & Remodeling.

We can highly recommend ADR. We did a full condo remodel. Palani Alexander made excellent design recommendations and gave us a detailed quote and plans. He has an excellent skilled team - we had very professional and clear communication with the foreman and with Palani Alexander himself. Project was on budget and exceeded our expectations for quality. We would definitely choose them again and recommend them to family & friends.

After purchasing a property in Kihei I needed to find a contractor to do a full remodel on my unit. The difficult part was finding someone I could trust to do the work while I was off the Island. I was very happy to meet Palani Alexander. He came highly recommended and he has helped create an amazing condo for me. I knew what I wanted for some of the finishings, but was unsure of color and design. Palani took the information that I knew I liked and with his design team was able to come up with paint color, tiles, and layout that was more than I ever imagined. You don't have to have an entire plan when you meet with this team. They will guide you through it. My entire remodel was done while I was gone. I was kept informed every step of the way. The crew that did my work were respectful to my neighbors. The bottom line is that I have an amazing condo that was remodeled with superb craftsmanship. One of the references I got told me that Palani was a "perfectionist" and that certainly shows in my condo. I would and have recommended him to other friends and neighbors.

They were accommodating in every way, & very skillful & innovative in accomplishing our non-traditional remodel of our Lahaina Shores condo. In July 2015 we purchased a condo that needed a full renovation. Our building manager recommended we contact ADR for our condo renovation. We met with Palani Alexander and knew right away he was the right choice. He had great ideas, was attentive and got the job done on time and right on budget. How many contractors can say they do that? If we purchase another condo, we will be sure to use ADR again. .

My wife and I had Palani Alexander do two renovation jobs for us. Palani is very knowledgable and helpful in the design phase. He started and finished both jobs on time and on budget - and, most important, he and his crews did quality work. Any deficiencies were dealt with promptly and there were no extras. We would recommend Alexanders Design for any home renovation.

We had the pleasure of working with Palani and Alexanders Designs for our remodel in Kihei in 2014. From the minute we met Palani, it was clear that he was on top of it and would do a good job for us - and had not only read our detailed project plan for the remodel (that involved structural as well as cosmetics) but had questions and suggestions at our first meeting. Palani and the team helped us find the best materials trying to get as much as possible on island vs. the wait and expense of shipping from the mainland. While there were a few hiccups (and only a very few) toward the end, Palani came personally on our walk throughs and made right on everything that needed addressing. We hope to use Palani again the next time we do a complete renovation in Maui.

Vision Design Kitchen And Bath LLC

ADR is really easy to work with. I am a designer and bring my own CAD drawings for cabinetry quotes for my clients. This has proven to be a valuable relationship so that I am a better resource for my clients. Additionally, ADR can provide the installation services. They are competent at their product installations and make sure the client is happy. I highly recommend ADR and look forward to our many projects in the future.

Palani and his crew were very professional and our bathrooms were completed on schedule and beautifully done. I have been in the real estate industry in Southern California for over 30 years and have done everything from small remodels to over 10,000 ft.² spec homes. Finding the right general contractor is critical to the success of the project and its ultimate finish value. I have been purchasing and remodeling properties in Maui for the past four years and have received multiple bids on projects and ultimately worked with a number of contractors, and I can say that Alexander's Designs & Remodeling is simply the best all-around contractor that I have worked with. Palani Alexander and his crew are friendly, knowledgeable and very easy to work with. I look for four attributes in choosing a general contractor: 1) must do excellent work, 2) must be reasonably priced and come in at budget, 3) must be easy to work with and flexible in adjusting to small project changes and 4) must finish the project on a timely basis. I'm currently finishing up a project right now with Alexander's Designs & Remodeling and I am planning to use them again on the next project. I would highly recommend. Jim D.
