Omnia Construction is wonderful. We had a very large kitchen remodel project which consisted of moving a laundry room, making a new pantry, tearing down a wall, shifting things around and gutting an entire kitchen with a rebuild. At the end, all the floors inside the home were refinished including putting hardwoods into the bedroom which was formerly carpeted. They are top notch when it comes to communication and making things happen. The subs they hire are great too esp the framing guys ;) There are always things that will come up in construction that are unknown until it happens. We had a couple of those things happen to us and it was worked out to everyone's satisfaction. Scott, the owner of Omnia and our project manager, Steve worked with us closely on the project to make sure it was done according to our vision. Steve is amazing! He communicated me on a daily basis. They have an app where you can check in to see what is done, what is coming up and it includes pictures of everything in process. This app is where you go back and forth with comments, questions, concerns or whatever! Communication is key. Oh and the office manager, Kara, who runs the billing is great too! :)

Project Description: Remodeling of Master Bathroom
Scope of job: Complete gutting of old bathroom. New floors, shower, electrical (fans, lights, outlets), plumbing, stucco work, painting, accessory hardware installation. New exterior window, new entry French doors. (Coordination for new vanity installation.)
Summary: A completely fine job, by a very professional team, requiring several critical design recommendations to achieve what we were after. Very well organized and managed from beginning to end, with lots of quality communication, listening and responsiveness on the part of Scott Liseno, Steve Meirdiercks and the whole team. High quality subs helped ensure flawless execution. Finished on-time and on-budget. No, it’s not free – but the effort required and the results were well-worth the expense of having experienced and trustworthy professionals handling the job. Bravo!
Some details: We wanted a complete re-make of our master bathroom and hired Scott at the recommendation of our neighbors, for whom he had just completed a similar job. They were totally satisfied with the results, and so were we. The next step was a lengthy and very detailed contract – about 16 pages! I’m a bit of a pain about such things …. I read it end-to-end and recommended half a dozen changes. We easily compromised, with some of my recommendations incorporated and with others that Scott convinced me were not needed.
The job itself required complete gutting of our old bathroom, including removal of the bathtub – at Scott’s suggestion - to allow space for a much larger shower. This triggered the need to remove and replace the existing window and French doors, replacing them with ones that fit the new design. Scott’s recommendations were generally right-on, and he made a point of offering alternatives so that we could choose the best options. Of course the job required new plumbing, electrical work, stucco work (because of the window replacement), painting, new floors and the installation of a variety of hardware. It was a 2 ½ month job, finished on-time and on-budget.
Project management was impeccable, accompanied by a constantly updated website which included just about all the information that anyone could want: contract, financial information, inspection certificates, schedule and status, pictures of work-in-progress, and an all-important messaging capability which we used regularly, with questions and concerns, and requests for changes. Scott and Steve Meirdiercks, who was the job manager, were always available for meetings at our request. Steve was here every day, overseeing the work and finding things requiring attention that we probably would have missed. He, like Scott and Kara Carpenter, was a pleasure to work with. They ensured that a safe, clean jobsite was maintained throughout the process.
Results: The quality was excellent, across the board. The modest handful of items needing “tweaks” were handled quickly and effectively. While our bathroom is not large, it IS beautiful – and gets raves from friends who see it. We are totally satisfied – make that completely pleased – with the results.
Of course, you could save money by hiring & managing all the subs yourself – but finding good subs, coordinating their schedules, overseeing the work, getting inspections, certificates, etc. is really not trivial – it’s a hard job (for a homeowner like me!), requiring experience and skill to be done right! You pay for good work – and the work of managing and overseeing this job was well worth the fee.
Bottom line: Scott, Steve and the Omnia team can be trusted. Period. They’ll do what they say, and do it on time, on budget to the fullest extent possible. They’ll manage all your concerns.

Hi Joel,
Thank you for your review. We really enjoyed working on your bathroom renovation with you. Projects with clients who are as engaged and as thoughtful as you were tend to have the best results. You're right, good work takes an investment of both time and money. I'm glad you're pleased with the results and we really do appreciate your business.

My wife and I wanted to have a garage/mudroom added onto our home which is over 30 years old. We wanted the space in our kitchen where the washer/dryer and water heaters were located to be converted into closet space. We contacted architect Paul Clark in Davidson who was wonderful to work with and he was able to design exactly what we wanted. We began to look for contractors and read online reviews related to Omnia Construction in Cornelius, NC. Scott Liseno, the owner of the company reviewed the architects plans and provided a very detailed scope of work and fee schedule. While pricing the project Scott took the time to evaluate cost estimates that may have been excessive and sought other vendors that were more in line with what his experience suggested the cost should be. Needless to say this saved our family money on the project. Scott met with us several times and answered all of our questions. We felt comfortable with Scott and selected Omnia for the project. Scotts associate; Steven Meierdiercks, was our personal contact for this job. Steven was at our home just about every day, he sent emails each evening summarizing what had been accomplished and what was scheduled both in the short and long term. Steven was awesome, he sought our input, he responded to any concerns we had and made sure we were satisfied with all of the work that was done. I work late but every time I called Steven he answered the phone and was available to discuss any issue that came up…that is a rare occurrence when dealing with businesses today. Scott and Steven worked hard to reduce/eliminate or mitigate any inconvenience to our family during construction. Steven took photos regularly to chronicle the progress of the construction and we were able to show them to family and friends. Scott and Steven dealt with each of their trade partners to ensure work was completed according to the architects design and any deviations were corrected immediately at no additional cost. In short, the project met or exceeded our expectations and resulted in an addition that matches our home perfectly. We are thrilled with our new closets, mud/laundry room and garage. If you are seeking an honest man who runs a company that will do everything possible to exceed your expectations then I highly recommend Scott Liseno with Omnia Construction.

I was introduced to Scott at Omnia Construction through my designer Starr Miller. Her recommendation of Scott went a long way in helping me to select Omnia as the contractor for the remodel of my master bathroom. The project was a complete gut job, all the way to the 2x4s. Which involved a half a dozen subcontractors, whose quality was incredible.
The level of communication I received went a long way to a successful project. I was kept informed of everything going on. Including, access to a project website that contained the entire scope of the project. Everything from financials, payment history, change orders, and the daily schedule were available for me to see. Text messages, phone calls, and emails were answered promptly! I would definitely recommend Omnia Constructions.
Of course I love the finished bathroom!

I knew Scott socially prior to hiring him to remodel our bathroom. I had an unfortunate experience previously, when we hired a family friend to remodel our kitchen, and i was hesitant to work with a friend again. However, after talking with multiple other contractors, we decided to use Scott because of the sense of trust he gave us, and his reputation for quality work.
Scott's quote was not the lowest, but he set realistic expectations, and offered suggestions on how we could cut costs without sacrificing quality. For example, we had initially wanted to wrap the wall tile around to another wall. Given the position of the wall, it has very little visibilty, and Scott suggested we might want to consider against it to save both time and money.
There were many other instances where Scott could have earned more money by doing what we initially thought we wanted, but he was more concerned with making sure we would be satisfied with the end product and recommended alternatives that were more functional.
Scott's crews were extremely professional, and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day. He kept us informed daily on the status of the project, and oversaw the subcontractors to ensure they were adhering to the schedule.
We were so pleased with Scott's work on this bathroom, that we have already scheduled him to remodel our master bathroom next summer.

We hired Omnia Construction to do our basement renovation. The pricing was fair, all costs were laid out up front, and we knew exactly what would be included. The entire process was seamless. Each night, I received a review of the day's work and a notice about what to expect the next day. I was never surprised or caught off guard at any time. Scott and his team were also available to answer any questions I had and were usually one step ahead of me. They thought of everything. As for budget, the pricing was exactly as they said it would be. No surprises there either. And, to top it off, their work was also top-notch. My basement is absolutely beautiful. It's more than I could have hoped for. I highly recommend Scott and the team at Omnia. In fact, we're already looking forward to finding another project for them to work on in the future.

I hired Omnia Construction for a project last summer. Scott's first concern was providing quality work at a great value. He took the time to personally visit the site and he created a project proposal that matched our needs and budget. The work looks great! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an honest, qualified contractor.

We hired Scott/Omnia Construction to update our master bath and kitchen. Scott always communicated with us during the process. He let us know when he expected to have his employees/subcontractors at the house, and he let us know when something came up that would cause a change in the schedule (inspections, back orders). We are very pleased with the work he and his people did, and we are equally happy that he stayed within our budget. We would absolutely recommend Scott/Omnia.

I have been in business for myself since 1991, specializing in finish carpentry and staircases. http://tobywilkins.weebly.com/index.html
I have been involved in many projects, commercial and residential. I am a firm believer that in order for a project to be completed in a timely fashion with quality, it requires good management and attention to detail from everyone involved.
I first met Scott Liseno when he contacted me in regard to the finish carpentry for a project he was in charge of in Virginia. I had recently completed the finish carpentry on an out-of-town hotel, and really wasn't interested in doing a job out-of-town again. In our initial phone conversation, he got my attention with what he said and how he said it, and I said, "I'll take a look at it." The project he was in charge of was one of the more complex, detailed jobs I had ever considered. After talking with Scott and noticing the details that had been addressed in the framing, it prompted me to consider the job further. After meeting with him a few more times, and coming to terms, I did the work for him. I have never been on a job of that size, with that many details, that went that smooth. We completed the job in a timely fashion, with the quality expected, thus satisfying the owners. It was Scott, with his management and attention to detail that made that happen. I truly enjoyed working with him.
If Scott Liseno calls me, I am more than willing to look further in to the project, because I know if he is running the job, it is a good one. I would not hesitate to work with Scott again.
If you are looking for someone to manage your project, there is no one better than Scott Liseno. There may be a few that are as good, but it is impossible for anyone to be better. He is first class in every way.
