I spent $1200 for this umbrella and the MOST critical part the Smooth Runner assembly on the stand is so CHEAP it cracked and broke. The part is so cheaply made that the umbrella is doomed to fail

Ordered a 10' Vrienden cantilever umbrella with lights for over $1100. Product looks great but with the first gentle summer breeze of < 10 mph, the ribs and frame bent, the ratchet mechanism that raises the umbrella broke and the lights stopped working. Customer service would not answer calls but did email me to say the umbrellas should always be taken down with any wind. The salesman claimed the umbrella is built to withstand 40 mph winds, but customer service says that's when the umbrella is closed! Horrible product and even worse customer service. RUN AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT

This company will not stand behind the false claims they make on their website regarding the quality of the product. The wicker on my 4 year old patio set is brittle, cracking and falling apart. They advertise a 5 year warranty but do not honor this. There have been several similar complaints posted on BBB and I see some more here. DO NOT BUY from this company!!!

be careful of this company they do not back their product and do not return calls. The umbrellas expensive and does not hold up as promised and they do not stand behind it.

unable to get any responses to my order - got umbrella but not deck mount accessory - cannot use! non responsive - no answers - although all paid for! no humans to answer phones just voicemails with no returned calls - my opinion a completely shady operation! trying hardest to get a resolution for 2 months now
