MJ Burns Construction

I've worked with Jon at MJ Burns over the past few months. He's very knowledgable and very skilled at his work. He brings a creative touch to the job and isn't just working within a boundary. He makes suggestions and talks about some of the pluses from some othe jobs he's done. The work that I've seen is all quality and I'll definitel continue to work with the, in the future.

I can't rate my experiences with MJ Burns Construction highly enough. I've used Jon and his team at two of our homes, ranging from small jobs (paint, crown molding, etc.) to HUGE jobs (an entire house renovation). No matter the job, MJ Burns prides themselves in a.) doing a quality craftsman job and b.) making sure the job is completed to customer satisfaction. You, as a customer, are involved in the project all the way through to ensure its finished exactly the way you want it. In addition to big results, the team does all the little things that make you comfortable with them in your home--wear booties/remove shoes, let you know exactly when they'll be arriving/leaving, and they keep a very, very clean work space. I have, and will continue to, recommend MJ Burns Construction to all of my family and friends interested in any construction needs.

MJ Burns remolded our bathrooms and they did a great job, both with their professionalism and the quality of their work. They are easy to communicate with and keep the homeowners up to date on the status of their work. I definitely will hire them again to do any work that we need! Great company and highly recommended!

I hired MJ Burns Construction for a full remodel of my kitchen, living room, basement and 2.5 bathrooms at the end of 2013. From the beginning consultation to the final completion of touch-up items, Jon and his crew were extremely consultative and professional. We were always in the loop on every detail that was to be completed and consulted about every step. The workmanship is top-notch. Jon is extremely meticulous is ensuring that work is done not just properly but immaculately. I am very pleased with my choice to hire MJ Burns construction and I would confidently refer the company to absolutely anyone looking to do household maintenance, repair and remodeling.

I met Jon a couple of years ago when we had to get my parents' house ready to sell. I had heard stories about contractors who don't return calls, never meet deadlines, charged more than bid, etc. My experience with Jon was the total opposite. He always returned calls promptly, kept on schedule and stayed within his estimate. His knowledge of all aspects of remodeling was impressive. But what most impressed me was the quality of his work. His attention to detail and the exeptional finished work impressed me enough to hire him for work in my home, with exactly the same fantatstic results.

Jon and I have worked together on many renovation and addition projects. Jon and his staff are a very detail oriented group, and do not sacrifice quality for anything. When meeting with clients, he is always accessible, and ready to answer any question or provide a solution on the spot. That is a hard and rare quality to find in any contractor.
