We appreciate any reviews that help us to better our process or our customer service. With any story there are always two sides. As the customer stated everything started off great. The initial completed project turned out beautiful and we heard no issues from the customer as they continued to retain a portion of their payment. The issues arose in a small section that the customer extended the subfloor over concrete. After further evaluation it was determined that the addition was not properly protected from moisture and not properly vented. We met with the customers and explained to them with formal documentation as to why only this small section out of the large area we installed reacted this way. We explained what they needed to do to rectify the issue since they created this issue and that we would evaluate after they addressed to see what needed to be done to make sure the floor was in proper condition. They refused to address the issue causing the problem for the flooring and neglected to contact us to attempt any solution. They continued to retain the remainder of the payment for close to a year. So they failed to follow through with the solution, and we made multiple attempts to contact them to resolve the issue to no avail. For over 35 years we have provided quality workmanship and quality customer service. When a customer is unwilling to cooperate, disrespectful, and slanderous we do take it personally. We are a small family company with many in house employees whose families depend on the work that comes in through word of mouth. To have a disgruntled customer who failed to work with us and is spreading lies is disheartening and we hope that our other reviews and reputation can speak for themselves.
