Pat O'Connell is the founder of Kitchen Plans and has over 30 years of experience within the kitchen industry, including more than two decades dedicated to kitchen planning, design and project coordination. Having worked on thousands of residential projects, Pat brings extensive practical knowledge to every design. Kitchen Plans uses industry-leading Articad Professional software to create detailed layouts, realistic 3D visualisations and comprehensive technical drawing packages. As a completely independent consultancy, our focus is solely on creating the best possible design solution for each client, without influence from suppliers, manufacturers or sales targets.

We recently used Kitchen Plans as part of our home renovation and were delighted with the results. Our kitchen was in a new extension with an awkward shape, but they came up with a clever design that made the space work perfectly. They not only designed a fantastic kitchen but also found room for a downstairs toilet and neatly concealed the washing machine, dryer, and boiler. They even helped redesign the upstairs layout, creating a much larger shower room by taking a little space from the smaller bedroom, while still fitting in a double bed and sliding wardrobe. Their creativity and attention to detail really stood out, and they came up with solutions we would never have thought of ourselves. We’re thrilled with the finished result and would highly recommend Kitchen Plans to anyone planning a renovation.

We contacted Pat at Kitchen Plans to design modern bedroom units for our home and we were not disappointed. Caught for space in two rooms Pat offered a very creative solution which maximised storage without compromising on room size in the smaller room. Perfection! Not only did Pat provide me with my ultimate kitchen design, but he also gave me peace of mind. Once as I gave him my brief, he carefully considered my ideas, and realised them, by giving me a thorough, detailed plan, which took into account, everything I had asked for. This service exceeded my every expectation. I cannot praise him highly enough. Value for money, professional, experienced, with a keen eye for detail. From the very first conversation I had with Pat, I knew I was in safe hands. I am so glad I made that call!

Found pat on the internet, I couldn't picture how my kitchen diner n living area wld work in the space we had available but after giving pat a brief of what I wanted he worked his magic and sorted everything, I'm thrilled with the final plans and his detailing is fabulous,was a pleasure to work with,very efficient contacting by phone or email,highly recommend his services and a reasonable price for what u recieve

Pat provided an excellent service. He spent a lot of time poring over every detail of the kitchen and utility with me and was good value for money. He advised on everything from worktops, appliances and taps to bins and pull-out larder types. His standard of customer service is very high. He always responded to emails or phone calls promptly and is very professional to deal with. I had no issues with him whatsoever and would recommend his service and CFF kitchens to anyone. I have received so many compliments on my kitchen and am absolutely delighted with it.

We recently did work on a major refurbishment on our home and we had a relatively new kitchen which we hoped to have taken out and refitted in a different layout. A friend recommended Pat O Connell from Kitchen Plans to me as someone who would be able to look over the kitchen and work out how it could be refitted. He visited us and looked over our plans and took details of the units we had. He quoted us what we considered to be a very reasonable fee for his time & expertise & we were absolutely delighted with what he came back with as he was able to have the entire kitchen refitted while adding one more unit to finish it off. The kitchen is going back in a completely different location so we did not want it to look like something that had been patched back together. Now it looks even better than before it was taken out and we are delighted. We would highly recommend Pat as he was a pleasure to deal with. The plans that we got back were very detailed and our builder, plumber and electrician were able to position everything perfectly to suit the kitchen including a window which Pat was able to position on the wall & give a size for to the builder to work in with the kitchen layout. In truth without him the kitchen would have more than likely had to be replaced entirely adding thousands on to the cost of the project.

We recently undertook a major renovation of our home and we really wanted to have our kitchen designed before we started to make sure that everything would be as we wanted it. We found kitchen plans on an internet search and can contacted Pat who from the start was a wealth of knowledge on all aspects of kitchen design. As he is based in Cork he was able to provide his services online as we were able to supply him with builders plans. The drawings and design were most impressive and really showed us the finished room in detail. The fee charged was most reasonable for the detail provided. It really put our minds at rest knowing that the kitchen was going to be exactly as we wanted it. He was also able to provide us with full services plans for the builder and we were able to use the plans also to source the kitchen from a local supplier in kildare where we live. I would highly recommend this service to anyone about to start building or thinking of renovating as we did.
