As we began to remodel our home we called Kim to come take a look and make some suggestions and give us some ballpark numbers for our budget. She not only made some great suggestions - which we took and love, but she was also very prompt in getting a quote back to us so we could come up with a budget for securing our loan. As we continued on with the project we found that her guidelines were very close to our final expenditures, so there were no surprises with our expenses. As we continued to chip away at details, she was always available, quick to get back to us with suggestions and pricing and on it when we ordered so there were no delays in completing the details. We never had to call her back to ask what was going on - she followed through without needing to be called back. The line of products and vendors that she works with are high quality and smart designs. We could not be any more pleased and we highly recommend Kim for anyone trying to navigate building a new hime or renovating an existing home.

Kim is the amazing owner of Mountain Colors Shop. She is a wealth of knowledge of not only paint colors but of overall design. It's a must if you are in Crested Butte, Colorado and need to make a changes to your house or new construction. In fact, I used her for our house in Texas too!

We are building a house outside of Crested Butte. We are in Houston so all decisions we make for the house are done remotely. Kim has made that such a seamless process. We reviewed the floor plan and she would send suggestions for lighting for each room. She stayed within our lighting budget while sending ideas of very cool lighting. Kim is very knowledgeable about her products and what will work best for for the particular space. Lastly she is a pleasure to work with and patient when you’re struggling to make decisions.
