Heartland Designs Trim Carpentry LLC was established in 1992 as a general partnership. Heartland Designs Cabinet Shop is the cabinet division of Heartland DesignsTrim Carpentry, LLC. Owners and Staff: Elam Stoltzfoos is the managing partner of Heartland Designs and also manages the operations of the Cabinet Shop. Stoltzfoos was one of the original founders of the company and has more than thirty years of experience in woodworking. Gabriel Beachy was also one of the original founders of the company. He currently serves as the Director of Sales and manages the job quoting department. Beachy, whose father was a home builder for many years, brings a lifetime of carpentry and business skills to the company. Jim Schrock joined the company in 1998 and now serves as the Director of Marketing. Schrock has more than ten years of field experience as a cabinet installer and woodworker. His skills in designing cabinetry, coupled with his knowledge of cabinet installation serves the customer well in kitchen designing. Heartland Designs is pleased to welcome Kristin Peiffer to our sales and design team. Kristin is well qualified and is an experienced kitchen and bath designer. Kristin graduated from Kirkwood with an Associate’s Degree in Interior Design and has been working in the design field for the past ten years. Kristin takes great pride in her commitment to customer satisfaction while utilizing her interior design skills. Kristin and husband Ben are parents of two children and live in rural Kalona.
