Studio 304

We worked closely with Studio304 over a long period of time to create a design for a 2 story rear extension for a terraced Victorian house. We wanted to maintain the period features in the old part of the house and come up with a modern design for the new extension that maximised the space and fitted well with our needs as a family with young kids. Gary's design was incredibly clever in his use of space and materials and he was very calm and patient to deal with. He listened to any feedback we had and nothing was ever a problem if we wanted to alter or amend any aspect of the build. Gary worked with us from initial design right through to completion and ensured that every aspect of the build was executed exactly as it had been designed to a very high standard. The result is a totally seamless transition between the old and new parts of the house. The period features are all retained and beautifully accentuated and the new part of the house is modern and luxurious but discreetly so. It was a pleasure to work with Gary and I look forward to working with him again in the future.

Studio 304 came up with a very creative response to our small space, which was a poorly designed Victorian conversion with lots of walls and a layout which didn't even nearly make the most of our south facing garden. The design is both pragmatic and exciting, making small bathrooms feel luxurious with newly developed technologies for the finish. The highlight is the sunken bath in a frameless glass box protruding into the side return, which ensures every space is light and usable. Studio 304's knowledge of materials has helped us achieve a high quality finish while saving money on more obvious approaches.
