We recently had the pleasure of working with Groysman Construction for a relatively extensive renovation of our kitchen, dining room, and great room, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the results. From start to finish, Boris, Joe and their team demonstrated a clear expertise in the field and partnered that with a passion for creating a home that we would love. We had a couple of initial consultations with Boris. He took the time to listen to our ideas and preferences, providing valuable input that complemented and enhanced our architect's original design and the overall vision. The project management and leadership skills of Joe were truly commendable. The project was completed within reasonable variation from the original timeline and budget. Any unexpected issues that arose were handled promptly and efficiently. Joe also brought his attention to detail to the project which was deeply appreciated. The technical skill craftsmanship exhibited by their team was also exceptional. There were a couple of parts of the renovation that required serious structural expertise (e.g. replacing exposed beams). They executed well with quality materials purchased and an attention to detail in the installation. We were also grateful that the team diligently cleaned up the area each day given we chose to live in the house during the renovation. One aspect that truly set Groysman Construction apart was their dedication to customer satisfaction. They went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, making adjustments when necessary and ensuring that the final result exceeded our expectations. The level of professionalism and integrity displayed by Boris, Joe and the team made the entire renovation process as positive and enjoyable an experience as having half your house renovated could be! My husband, Ron, is 85,& I’m, 77. We live in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, second floor condo overlooking Maple Canyon in Bankers’ Hill. We love it—but the 5” x 9” bathroom needed replacement. (Really needed it). My husband was on dialysis, was soon start on 5 weeks radiation, too. We needed a shower so he wouldn’t trip. I got referrals from several friends, interviewed a couple construction companies & scoured the internet for ideas. I told them all I didn’t matter to me when they’d be able to start, but I needed it be done as fast as possible. Estimates went from 4 weeks to several months. Cost estimates went as high as $40K. I went back to my internet research and brought up Groysman Construction and found their incredible website, from which I learned more about remodeling baths than I ever thought possible. I called for the 1 hour free assessment—design and costs. I told Boris what we needed-a short time of construction, and what the bath’s biggest challenge was. A wet room like shower in a 5 x 6 bath couldn’t happen. Boris said what I wanted was a “lipless” shower. He gave me a design and a price, and said he would complete it in 2 weeks, maybe less. I doubted it, but trusted him and agreed we’d use his company later—no hurry to start. He started the next week. He suggested I go to Floor and Decor in the Marina District to see their selection of tiles, grouts, shower models, and more. I did; I met with a member of their design team—Alisa First—and had a one hour free consult with her. I chose tile for the shower walls, shower floor and bathroom floor, and the shower hardware and grout I’d need. Below are the photos. We could not be more pleased. It’s beautiful, and more importantly, it’s safe. No falls, no slips, easy to reach towels. It was done in under 2 weeks, and at a lower cost (by over 25%) than the cost Boris quoted us. Two crafts men worked on it: Peter, who oversees in progress remodels, and Victor who did almost all of the tile work, I cannot say it better than the pictures show. Absolute pleasure working with Joe, the project manager and Boris, the general contractor! We had a complicated situation having to travel across the country and coordinate a lot of moving parts in order to complete an extensive renovation that was executed flawlessly. We were off site during construction and concerned about the quality of work to be done due to limited communication and lack of oversight but the team did not disappoint. They were always easy to get in touch with and timely in providing updates on the project. There were several minor issues, one regarding the incorrect closet door installation despite clear instruction on specific product selection but most all additional problems were all addressed immediately after identification. All things considered, we were lucky to have worked with such patient and skilled professionals and could not be happier with the end result!

Boris was amazing. He took time and understood our requirements and his team executed it perfectly. The project was completed in time as promised.

Boris and his gang did a nice job on my master suite renovation. In the end, you ask yourself if you were comfortable with the workers in your house. Did you look forward to seeing them...did they show up on time. The answer is YES! Renovation is expensive and stressful. Boris helps with trust.

Groysman Construction did a fabulous job with my remodel. I had to re-do my entire kitchen after a water leak and Boris was amazing. He was always responsive, gave great suggestions and on point design feedback. His team was clean and professional and I never had to worry about anyone not showing up. Stop searching for another contractor to update your home – pick Groysman Construction! We had an excellent experience working with Boris and his team of professionals. Our house had a major slab leak and required an extensive amount of work to get it back to normal. Our project consisted of installing new kitchen cabinets and countertops, new flooring through the house, demo’ing and remodeling two bathrooms, etc. The team finished the project earlier than expected, and communication was clear and straightforward along the way. My family lived in the house throughout the demo and reconstruction; the team was very considerate and worked to minimize any disruption. The project manager, Joe, was terrific. He communicated the process and schedule along the way. Carlos was a master of everything. His work in framing, dry wall, painting, everything was top notch. Silver was an artist in his use of tile. The showers as well as kitchen backsplash tile work, should be highlighted on an HGTV home improvement show. Everyone was incredibly polite, cleaned up every day, and treated our house like their own and us like their family. Boris had a great vision for our house from the start, and helped steer us to a design that we love. Boris is very responsive and clear in his communications – there were never any hidden costs or questions about the schedule or status of the work. We had a great experience with Groysman Construction, and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone looking for a home remodel. I hired Groysman Construction for my 1969 house remodeling project. The project includes demoing the entire house, replacing the tankless heater, removing and building drywalls, electric& plumbing work, kitchen remodeling, flooring, and painting, plus many little things around the house.
