About Us

Welcome to GRAVITATE interiors + design We are a professional interior design studio specializing in residential interiors for private clients and commercial projects including offices, retail, cafes and hotel spaces. British born, Jackie moved to the east coast of America and studied interior design at the New York School of Interior Design and Brookdale College. Before establishing GRAVITATE she worked as an Interior Designer for HGTV star and Travel Channel host Blanche Garcia at B Garcia Designs. Jackie also freelances for design and build companies in the Greater New York and New Jersey area working on medium to large-scale projects including design and build projects, interior remodelling and interior decorating. Living close to the shore, Jackie has developed a number of Beach Home clients who love her neutral, fresh beach style. She also works closely with local real estate agents assisting home buyers in seeing the full potential of their next dream home and staging properties for sale. Jackie is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers. She has won awards from the Illuminating Engineering Society for lighting design, ASID furniture design, and has designed for the VNA Stately Homes by the Sea Showhouse. "We want to guide, educate and inspire our clients to find their style and help them articulate what they love and what is important to them in creating their home, business space or workplace. Interior Design is a very personalised process and experience and we love nothing more than getting to know and collaborating with our clients. Through thoughtful design and attention to detail, we deliver distinct functional and comfortable spaces our clients will want to GRAVITATE to and enjoy with family, friends, colleagues and clients"

Jackie worked with us on the renovation of the first floor of our Lincroft Center Hall Colonial. She helped us tremendously with our floor plan, it was so helpful to see the 3D renderings of our new layout. She advised me on paint colors, cabinets, fixtures, furniture, rugs, tile, fabrics, etc. She suggested things that I absolutely loved and might not have come across on my own. She is very professional and easy to work with, I could not be happier with her services. After speaking to other Interior Designers to learn about the services they were offering, I am glad I went with Jackie, she comes very highly recommended.

Jackie was an absolute pleasure to work with! Our project included the installation of a full bathroom with rain shower, full bar/kitchen with stone backsplash and the framing of several rooms in a 1700+ square foot unfinished basement. Jackie provided us with a full design plan for the kitchen and bathroom as well as valuable input regarding flooring and paint colors as well as other design recommendations for the rest of the space. She provided multiple design options and ideas throughout the project, in many cases maintaining budget, while not compromising quality. She was extremely knowledgeable when it came to products and materials Jackie also is extremely personable which made her very easy to work with. We are highly satisfied with the end product and truly feel that Jackie helped transform our basement from an unusable, cold storage space to an efficient and usable extension to our home. We thank Jackie and we definitely recommend her design expertise for any small-to-large scale renovation project.

Jackie is the consummate profession! She was referred to us by a friend here in town who was thrilled with her work. When we recently decided to remodel our dated Colts Neck kitchen and first floor, Jackie met with us to discuss ideas. She had such a fresh outlook on design. She presented us with a few different plans and we worked together to complete our gorgeous high end kitchen and open living room. Our family is thrilled especially our three college aged daughters. Our home is so sophisticated ! I can't say enough about Jackie, her work ethic and enormous talent. A true pleasure to work with.

Jackie was a true pleasure to work with! She provided us with a full design plan for our kitchen and bathroom as well as valuable input to small touches in the rest of our home. She was professional but also extremely personable. She listened well to all of our thoughts, concerns and desires and was accommodating when it came to budget and our schedule. She was extremely knowledgeable when it came to products and materials. She offered expert advice that was much needed when trying to make important design decisions. I would recommend her service to anyone looking to tackle anything from a one room redesign, to a whole house renovation!
