Alex and his team were excellent. He took the time to review what was required, and made helpful suggestions on how to proceed. The work was carefully done with a very pleasing aesthetic. The underlying issues of water and drainage were dealt with and after two periods of rain, all of the previous problems have been addressed. There was a tiny issue with sand washing through one piece of edging on a patio that emerged after some rain and Alex straightaway sorted out a visit to address it. We are already planning for the next stage of the work in the spring. I couldn't be happier with the work. Everyone who has seen it has commented about how fantastic it looks. Very satisfying.

Highly recommend! I did quite a bit of research and met with 5 companies before choosing Rock Solid. A lot of landscape companies are now jumping on the bandwagon for the heightened interest in outdoor living but not all landscaping companies have the training or knowledge to build a solid outdoor area that will last decades. Alex and his team take the time to build the project correctly and solidly. Most landscape companies wanted to build the stone grill right on top of the pavers. Alex explained that a footer was necessary and if it wasn't used that the ground could shift and crack the granite. Now I am confident that I will not have to spend more money down the road fixing something that looked nice but was not solidly built. Alex and his team are meticulous in their work, very talented, and made sure that the work site was clean every day before they left. Unlike most other companies, when he said that they would be there, they were! Great bunch of hard working nice guys!

I wanted to make the most of my small urban backyard space. The goal was to make it seem larger and more private. Alex and crew completed a major transformation, removing an aging deck and installing a hardscape patio with new steps, lighting and landscaping. They were also able to improve the drainage to address the occasional water issues I have in the basement. Everything turned out great and it was finished on time and on budget. Highly recommended.

I hired Alex and his crew to complete a project involving my fireplace. My wife and I had Alex completely stone the fireplace all the way to the ceiling switching out the mantle that came with the house. Rock Solid Solutions exceeded our expectations. They were fairly priced, on time, great communicators, and their work was second to none. Alex is very meticulous in the quality of stone work that he does. As somebody that appreciates hard work and quality, I respected that and it made us very happy. Alex also custom created a brand new mantle in his shop that was exactly what we wanted. He added four carriage bolts in the rustic-looking mantle to give it a modern feel while not taking away from the character of the mantle itself. Alex and his crew transformed my living room into a beutiful space. I always wanted a fireplace hearth but never thought it could be done. The results far exceed anything I have imagined. Rock Solid Solutions provided a fair estimate to build Uni-lok walls on either side of my driveway and a rock flower box in my front yard. I heard nothing but good recommendations about this company and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of workmanship, attention to detail, and the hard working effort by all involved on my job. This company exceeded my expectations! Not only are the walls and flower box built with extreme precision but the attention to detail and clean-up were amazing.
