Banquette and nook areas are quite popular and require a base style that allows for easy mobility around the bench. An x-base trestle is a nice transitional style that works nicely with a low-maintenance zinc top. If you have an angle in your bench seat, zinc can be cut to the same angle to allow for useful seating.
