White & Brick Orangery in London

When we took the brief, we knew that an elegant design was required in order to complement this 1930s home’s classic character. The house is in a conservation area and such features as its original bricks would need to be matched to retain the integrity of its original design. The airy Mediterranean-style décor of the home and the intended use of the extension as an informal dining room and lounge suggested the approach we should take. The result? A graceful white timber frame orangery with a light and sunny atmosphere. The detail of the leaded storm-proof windows honoured the era in which the house was originally built. “We are truly delighted with our new room and look forward to enjoying its full potential this spring and summer. Many thanks indeed!”
