Virginia Highlands Bungalow
The master bedroom has a French flavor with the wrought iron bed with an aged patina finish. We kept the warm red and gold and added a bit of blue in the needlepoint rug and in the artwork. The drapery is a gold silk with fleur de lis hold backs, making it easy to darken the room for privacy and sleeping. The chest is a family piece from North Carolina, and the night stable was an antique of the clients.
