Urban Cape undertook the redesign and renovation project of a five bedroom villa located in the South of France netting 400% return on investment at the height of recession.
The property was designed by a local architect and built in the 1980s. The exterior took on a nautical inspiration in attempt to align it with its coastal surroundings, but had become run down and dated.
Urban Cape was commissioned to give the property a new lease of life. The new interior features an open plan kitchen and living area with sunken dining. Internal walls were demolished to open up the space allowing natural light to wash throughout and maximising views of the garden overlooking the exclusive Cap Ferrat. Extensive landscaping to the grounds was undertaken, extending the garden by 20 square meters to include a suspended deck and the addition of a Japanese garden.
The property sold netting a 400% profit to the owners and was achieved through the design consultancy’s flexible approach to budget and time frame.
