This solid 1960's house on Norman Street in Dunedin needed bringing into 2016 before the property owners put it on the market. The house was owned by a couple who had rented it out for ten years while they were overseas. They decided to undertake a full house refresh including updating the kitchen, bathroom, toilet, laundry, lounge, bedrooms and hallways. A new deck was also added to the rear of the property for modern indoor/outdoor living and the house was repainted inside and out. These improvements took a tired, dated home and transformed it for today's living, creating a warm contemporary home. The clients were delighted with the result and with the ideas and project management provided by Smith & Sons Dunedin. Soon after the renovation was complete the owners put the property on the market as they wanted to invest in a newer and larger property, and it sold within four days.
