Tusculum Historic Site

Once front and rear parlors, these two rooms had been opened in the early 20th century for use as a dining room. The window to the rear of the house was preserved and can be opened to the adjacent new terrace room addition. A special skylight was positioned over the window to increase the presence of natural light. The floors are heart pine (10"-14"wide) and the center light fixture was designed by Howard Brandston of New York. Michael Slack
