The Natural Chef's Kitchen

Located in a leafy suburb of South West London, just a stone’s throw from Richmond Park, the couple enjoyed the combination of city and country life. Working in the city during the week, they escaped to their home which felt a world away from the busy city life to a natural refuge where they could rest, recharge and enjoy time as a family. It was this combination of urban and nature that would be a key component of the design concept. As a keen cook he also desired a kitchen with the features of a chef’s kitchen – a highly practical and durable space with large preparation areas to cook Italian recipes and make pasta with the family. The kitchen would also capture the theatre of cooking, providing the perfect environment for hosting dinner parties and entertaining guests. The kitchen would be completely handcrafted in England to the exact style of their choosing – a bold, modern interpretation of a bespoke wooden English kitchen.
