Spa Bathroom

We utilised the existing bathroom and extended into a bedroom. As a trade off we designed a small utility room that also houses the tech hub for the smart side of the room. We removed the windows to give a stable environment for relaxation and lighting. To compensate we designed seven separate lighting zones which are all controllable via a wireless panel and an iPhone App. This creates varying lighting patterns with both visible and concealed light sources. The sauna and bath filler also work via these controllers – the ultimate in luxury bathroom tech. The Duravit bath doubles as a massage desk when the head rests decline. The infinity design of the bath protects the solid oak surround from direct interaction with water. This oak surround and wash stand cabinet are both custom built in the Project One joinery shop. The sauna is from Tylo with an 8kw stove that controls manually or via the iPhone app. No spa is complete without music so this is delivered through Bose speakers connected to the wireless hub.The Bose are flush mounted in the ceiling as is the Grohe Rain Series shower head. The centralised wet room has no glass screen so integrates seamlessly. The walls are clad in free length Limestone and custom polished on the external angles for that finishing touch of this luxury bathroom.
