Soho Apartments
In this project, we combined two apartments in a classic, pre-war building in the heart of SoHo. My clients live overseas so I managed the day to day construction project on the ground for them.We wanted to keep the authenticity of the wood beams and exposed brick, but juxtapose it with modern flair so we painted the brick, re-stained the beams, brought in new floors and added a modern Bulthaup kitchen. It was important for my client to have pops of color (blue being a favorite), so I incorporated it throughout the apartment as evident in the fabulous kitchen lighting and oversized sectional.
