Slow Flowers November 2019 - design inspiration with heirloom chrysanthemums
Pilar Zuniga, owner of Gorgeous & Green, an Oakland, Calif.-based design studio, selected two mum varieties (chocolate spider and a golden brown variety) as the focal flowers to display at a special event. The flowers are complemented by pistachio branches, green and amber amaranth, eucalyptus, fennel, leucadendron, blue statice and equisetum grass. She foraged locally and sourced some elements from Repetto Nursery in Half Moon Bay, Calif.
