San Francisco Living Rooms
This urban townhouse, located a stone's throw from AT&T Park was full of opportunity. Tall ceilings, new construction, a great sense of style, good bathrooms, and plenty of space were all in our favor. Lighting however, was not. It was especially lacking in the living and dining rooms where we added sconces, floor lamps, and on the concrete ceiling above an overhead track lighting system. To personalize the space, Michael Merrill Design Studio put together a few strong over-scaled pieces of art, a 19th Century Karabaugh carpet, and some fine contemporary furniture pieces. (2005-2006)
