Revitalized

Dated, dark and dingy this kitchen was disorganized and had a lot of wasted space. Strategically placed halogen lighting, lighter cabinets and naturally light large format slate floors along with well defined work areas this kitchen was brought back to life. A narrow hallway isolated the kitchen and family from for the lower entry and the rest of the house.
Removing the hall closet and greatly increasing the cupboard space with a pantry and island not only made the entry to the kitchen more welcome it solved the disorganization of the old kitchen.
With a peninsula splitting the kitchen and the nook area the space was underutilized.
A new beverage centre complete with a bar sink and wine cooler helped to expand the entertainment/nook area of the new kitchen. With a lot a wasted space and appliances that conflicted with each other the kitchen simply did not function.
A strategically place island, well defined work areas (involving 3 separate sinks) and display cabinets round out this spectacular layout. The actual work areas of the kitchen allows for multiple occupants and offers and intimate social area nearby.
