AFTER: This addition replaced a dilapidated porch on the rear of a historic home. The existing brick dwelling dates from the mid-19th century. The two-story addition contains a classically inspired pergola that shelters the outdoor raised porch. The second floor band of windows reflects the design of the previous porch. The addition contains the new kitchen, dining area, and a master bedroom above.
