"I've been really charmed by a lot of turn of the century and midcentury modern design re-creations and re-imaginings coming out of Japan. My philosophy is: go slowly, a great space takes time, work with the space you're given, your style will evolve to suit that space, don't try to force it. I would call my style a rustic fusion of mid-century and turn of the century," says Kamp.
This can be seen in the combining of the coffee table that originally was an old hay bale cart that is over a hundred years old with the midcentury style couch.
