Mountain Cabin
This modern mountain cabin was designed by Monique for her own use on a lot in the Big Bear area, a resort in proximity to Los Angeles. The cabin measures under 1000 sqft and was built on a limited budget. The existing hillside was minimally disturbed when placing the house and no trees were removed. Another consideration was to use fire-resistive materials, such as, concrete block and cement board siding, for the exterior.
