Objectives:
• Update with a modern style.
• Create a spa-like feel.
Design Challenges:
• Existing bathroom was small.
• Felt dark and was improperly lit.
• Create more storage.
Design Solutions:
• Added to footprint by bumping out into unused space in the garage.
• Incorporated elements such as freestanding bath, glass shower enclosure, and floating cabinetry to create more floor space and enhance the open feel.
• Created layers of light with recessed lights, vanity sconces and ceiling mount fixture.
• Added tall cabinetry for linens and toiletries.
• Used luxurious finished throughout the space.
• Enhanced the spa-like feel with a calming color palette.
