Longevity by grace and form - bath
The couple was transitioning into semi-retirement. They want to stay in their home as long as possible, so they asked that the master bathroom remodel design incorporate aging in place principles. They had collected various types of art, mostly Asian and displayed throughout their home, so they wanted to incorporate it into the space. Currently the closets had no doors and opened to the vanity mirrors creating a busy and distracting feeling of clutter. They rarely used the tub, and the shower was too small. The one window into the bathroom looked at their neighbors which had a direct view to the bath tub, and shower, so they wanted more privacy. Keeping the two sinks with a seated make-up area, and adding a larger shower.
