Douglas Fir timber and Guernsey granite marry well in this area at the foot of the main staircase. By using a bespoke manufactured, engineered timber floor board, the timber's natural movement is almost completely negated - even with underfloor heating.
Bonsai's installers carefully hand-scribe the floor's perimeter to match the natural contours of the Guernsey granite walls without the need for unsightly perimeter trim.
