Knocklyon

House extension in Dublin suburb. A wonderful lightfilled space, with a kitchen for serious cooks. This kitchen design is based on the work zone theory rather than the arcaic work triangle. Two sinks zone the kitchen tasks into the wash-up zone and the cooking zone. The washup zone is also the storage zone for crockery, glasses, cutlery. Mixing bowls, pots and pans, and food prep oriented items are dedicated the island. Photos by Paul Sherwood.
