Sorry but for client confidentially I can't disclosure how much was spent on this project. Depending on the size you should allow £25-50k for similar extension, but there are obviously many options and decisions that determine the final price.

Did you design this your project? We have a victorian house and are thinking of doing the same, but we live in Cardiff.

Thanks for your questions. There are a number of factors that determine the price which includes current structural configuration, size and also rear access. The glass is structural, you could actually stand on it. The doors are frameless and do not have an aluminium surround.

Re companies using your house as a advert - most companies would be unlikely to offer this service (if I presume you would be expecting a discount for the advertising?) due to the high demand for this type of extension.

This project has underfloor heating. The glass is triple glazed and very efficient - we've had no complaints from the client that the room is cold!

It's regular glass so just like cleaning the windows. If you need to you can stand on the roof (obviously taking care due to the fall on the roof).

Hi Cat - look up Aco slot drainage, they are the best around - also go for the metal finish not plastic. It's a change to your drainage and would require re laying your courtyard stone but could be fitted retro, it's a very smart style and removes large amounts of water. We fitted this when we were doing the renovation. Hope this helps?

Thanks for your question. Structurally there are many unknowns so it would be wrong to give advice without seeing your property/ Technically there is nothing to stop this if your home has adequate foundations and the walls can take the weight of the glass. As I see you are located in the US you would need to consult a structural engineer locally to get a better understanding of the possible options.
