This upstairs gallery connecting the bedrooms was not really given any importance originally. Since it is seen from the entrance foyer, we made a very strong statement with zinc-clad dressers and a bench. Not only does it provide excellent communal storage for towels and sheets and other guest necessities, it also creates an unexpected focal point from multiple vantage points in the house.
