The second guest room glows. The shuttered windows look out to the landscaped front yard and palm trees beyond. The custom headboard and bedspread are a Chinz fabric with bright tropical flowers. The artwork on the left is a pastel by Kansas City artist Rita Blitt. The other is a signed and numbered piece by the artist Otsuka.
