The former brick exterior wall was retained.
The floor was built up, insulated and a custom tile flooring with a railroad scene reminiscent of the original owners former business was created and welcomes you to these bygone days. The tile retains the old world charm with the mosaic that tells the home’s past. The tile border adds another layer of detail again relating to the homes rich history. Cross ventilation using operable windows on each end as well as the front of the enclosure providing a comfortable space to rest and relax.
not sure what that center picture is, but I do like the scrolled tile border. very smart.
