American Gothic Reclaimed Hickory:
Reclaimed hickory gives a truly dramatic look to a floor due to its contrasting knots and sapwood. Hard as nails, it wears superbly and is a great choice for anywhere that will house dogs or kids. Occasionally you'll hear us describe hickory as 'vanilla and chocolate ice cream swirled together'. With the light tans and deeper brown swirls natural to the grain pattern in this species the description does seem to work.
