Extensive kitchen renovation in Melrose, MA, removing one load-bearing and one non-load-bearing wall to fully open the kitchen to the living area. Kitchen cabinets are cherry with a blue-gray stain, irregular square white backsplash tile, soft bronze cabinet hardware, and pops of stainless and oil-rubbed bronze. We added a center island and built-in breakfast nook, updated the powder room, added custom built-in entryway cubby, and updated fireplace hearth with a penny tile mosaic.
